What it is
Company Settings is where you record who your business is: your logo, your name, your industry, your website, your time zone, your phone numbers and email addresses, your street address, and the hours you are open.
You fill this in once. Joby then reuses the same details on estimate and invoice pages your customers open, in emails Joby sends for you, on documents you print or download, in the answers the AI assistant gives customers, on the public web page Joby builds for your business, and in the office agent schedule.
The page is made of four cards, in this order:
1. Company Information
Company Logo, Company Name, Legal Name, Business Category, Website URL, Timezone.
2. Contact Information
Main Phone, Support Phone, Support Email, Billing Email, Reply-To Email.
3. Business Address
Street address with autocomplete, Address Line 2, City, State, ZIP Code, Country.
4. Business Hours
One row per day, with an Open/Closed switch and open and close times.
When to use it
- You just signed up and are working through the setup checklist.
- You never uploaded a logo, or your logo changed.
- You moved, changed your main phone number, or changed the email you want billing sent to.
- Your opening hours changed, for the season or for good.
- The wrong business name or address is showing on an estimate, an invoice, or an email.
- The AI assistant quoted the wrong hours, address, or phone number to a customer.
Before you start
- You need the Admin role. Company Settings is admin-only. If you open the page without it, Joby sends you back to the Dashboard.
- Have your logo file ready. It must be under 2 MB. PNG, JPG, or SVG give the cleanest result; other image types are converted to PNG for you when you upload them.
- Have your details written down: everyday business name, registered legal name, main phone, support phone, support email, billing email, reply-to email, full street address, and the hours you are open each day.
This page does not change the numbers customers call
Main Phone here is the number printed on your paperwork and shown to customers. The numbers that actually ring into Joby are managed in Settings›Phone Numbers.
Step-by-step
Open the page
- On a computer: click your name at the bottom of the left menu → Settings → under Business, click Company Settings. You can also type “Company” into the Search settings… box at the top of the Settings page.
- On a phone: More → Company Info.
- If you still have the setup banner on the Settings page, Continue setup → Business Identity → Company details also opens this page.
1. Upload your logo
- In the Company Information card, click Upload Logo.
- Pick your image file. It must be under 2 MB.
- The logo saves by itself — you do not need to press Save Changes for it. You will see “Logo uploaded successfully”.
- To swap it later, click Change Logo. To remove it, hover over the logo and click the small X in its top-right corner.
The logo appears on estimate and invoice pages customers open, on emails, on documents, and at checkout.
2. Fill in Company Information
- Company Name — your everyday trading name. This is the name customers see.
- Legal Name — your registered entity name, for paperwork where it differs.
- Business Category — click the box and pick your industry from the list (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, Garage Door, Locksmith, Cleaning Services, and many more). You can search the full list, or choose Other and type your own.
- Website URL — your public website, for example https://example.com.
- Timezone — pick one of: Eastern (ET), Central (CT), Mountain (MT), Arizona (no DST), Pacific (PT), Alaska (AKT), or Hawaii (HST).
If an email connection is already active, a read-only Company Email row also appears here, tagged System Generated. That address is created for you and cannot be edited on this page — manage email senders in Settings›Email Accounts.
3. Fill in Contact Information
- Main Phone — your primary business number, shown on customer paperwork.
- Support Phone — a second number for help or service calls, if you use one.
- Support Email — where customers should write for help.
- Billing Email — where invoice and payment questions should go.
- Reply-To Email — the address that replies to your outgoing mail land in.
4. Fill in Business Address
- Start typing your street address in the first box and pick your address from the suggestions. City, State, ZIP Code, and Country fill in for you.
- Use Address Line 2 for a suite or unit number.
- Check the four boxes underneath and correct anything that came through wrong. State takes the two-letter abbreviation only, for example NY.
5. Set your Business Hours
- Each day has its own row. The switch next to the day reads Open or Closed — turn it off for days you are shut.
- For open days, pick an opening time and a closing time from the two dropdowns. Times come in 30-minute steps.
Out of the box, Monday to Friday are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday is 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Sunday is closed.
6. Save
Click Save Changes at the top right of the page (on a phone, tap Save in the header). You will see “Company settings saved”.
Saving also refreshes your public web page
When you change the Company Name or Business Category, Joby rebuilds the public web page it hosts for your business so it matches. That rebuild runs in the background and can take a minute or two to appear.
How to check it worked
- You saw the “Company settings saved” confirmation.
- Reload the page. Every box you filled in still shows your details.
- Go back to Settings. The Company Settings tile now shows a green dot (“Configured”) instead of the amber one, which happens once you have both a company name and an address.
- Open any estimate or invoice and preview it. Your logo, name, phone, and address should be in the header.
- If your account has a Knowledge tab under Settings›AI Agent, open it and expand What the AI knows. It lists the exact Company, Address, Main phone, Support phone, Website, Timezone, and Business hours the AI will quote to customers. Anything showing “Not set” still needs filling in here.
Common mistakes
Editing fields and leaving without pressing Save Changes
Only the logo saves on its own. Everything else — names, phones, emails, address, hours — needs Save Changes. If you navigate away first, your edits are gone.
Typing the street address by hand and leaving City, State, and ZIP blank
Documents build the address from the separate City, State, and ZIP Code boxes. If you skip them, estimates and invoices print an incomplete address. Pick your address from the suggestions so they fill in for you, then check them.
Expecting Business Hours to control call routing
It doesn’t. Call routing has its own schedule: in Visual Call Flows, the Time Split step has its own time ranges and its own day buttons. It does read the Timezone set on this page, so those ranges run in your local time. The Slow Down a Big Send step in Automations also has its own start and end times. Update those separately when your hours change.
Trying to edit the Company Email row
That row is generated for you and marked System Generated. It is read-only here. Add or change the addresses you send from in Settings›Email Accounts.
Uploading a logo that is too big
Anything over 2 MB is rejected. If your file is a format Joby has to convert and the converted version is still over 2 MB, that is rejected too — start from a smaller image.
Putting the full state name in the State box
That box accepts two letters only. Use NY, not New York.
Set the time zone early
Changing it later does not rewrite anything already recorded — it only changes how times are shown from that point on, in the places that use it. Get it right during setup.
More detail (1)
Where these details show up
- Estimate and invoice pages your customers open — logo, company name, phone, and address in the header.
- Emails and documents — the same details, plus the wording you build with merge tags in Templates. The Company group there includes tags for the name, legal name, category, website, all five phone and email fields, each address line, the time zone, your full week of hours, today’s hours, and whether you are open right now.
- The AI assistant — it is told your name, address, main and support phone, website, time zone, and business hours before it answers a customer.
- Office Agent Scheduling — your business hours are the baseline it compares each person’s shift against, so it can show you where the week is uncovered.
- AI Agent reply timing — setting a reply window to “Business hours” or “After business hours” follows the hours you set here.
- Automations — run times in the list are shown in your company time zone.
- Your public web page — the name and category you save here are what it gets rebuilt from.
One logo, every customer-facing surface
As the page itself says, the logo is shown on estimate pages, emails, documents, and checkout. Uploading it here updates all of them at once — there is no second place to upload it.
